BREPC is Monitoring Weekend Weather
As of Friday, February 20 at 10:30 AM, Barnstable County is monitoring a period of wintry weather expected later today into Saturday.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a mix of snow, rain, and possible freezing rain across the region. For Cape Cod, impacts are expected to remain limited, but some roads and sidewalks could become slick at times, especially this evening and overnight.
Light precipitation may continue into Saturday morning before ending.
We are also watching a potential storm system for Sunday into Monday. Forecast trends may bring a greater impact to our region, but confidence in the track and totals remains low at this time.
This could be minor, or conditions could change. It is too early to say with certainty.
