West Nile virus continues to be detected in mosquitoes, and the risk of mosquito-borne illness continues through September. Prevention tips include using EPA-registered insect repellent, wearing long sleeves and pants, avoiding peak mosquito activity at dusk and after dark, eliminating standing water, and keeping window and door screens in good repair.
