Cholesterol Basics: Free CardioCheck Screening in Brewster on November 4

Join Barnstable County Public Health Nurses for Cholesterol Basics: CardioCheck Screening, a brief presentation followed by a free screening.
After learning about cholesterol and the impacts on your health, you can have your blood tested. The test is a simple finger stick, and fasting is not required. The results will tell you your total cholesterol, HDL, and your cholesterol/HDL ratio, an indicator of your risk for heart disease.
When: Wednesday, November 4, 2026, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Where: Brewster Ladies Library, 1822 Main St., Brewster, MA 02631
Registration is required for this event. Please register through the library event calendar or call 508-896-3913. Please plan to attend the presentation prior to testing.
This program is offered by the Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment.
