Power Outage Update – Cape Cod

As of 7:45 AM, there are scattered power outages are being reported across Cape Cod as heavy, wet snow and strong winds continue to impact the region. Utility crews are staged and responding as conditions allow, and additional outages remain possible as the storm continues.
Across multiple Cape communities, downed trees and wires are being reported. In some areas, roadway clearing and snow removal may be delayed until utility providers can safely clear downed lines. Crews will continue operations where it is safe to do so.
Residents should report outages directly to their utility provider and prepare for the possibility of extended outages.
To report an outage:
• Eversource: 1-800-592-2000
• National Grid: 1-800-465-1212

Use generators outdoors only and away from windows and doors.
Stay clear of downed wires and report them immediately — always assume wires are live.
