On-Site Fire Training Brings Real-World Skills to Mashpee Fire & Rescue
Instructors from the Cape Cod Center for Public Safety Training; Fire Program Division completed a week of training today with the Mashpee Fire & Rescue Department at their department. Staff through the use of NFPA compliant programs and hands on delivery provided the Knowledge and Skills useing our door prop for those circumstances when a forcible entry is used to gain access during a fire or rescue emergency.
Barnstable County, Cape Cod Center for Public Safety Training /Fire Programs Division in coordination with the Cape Cod Fire Chiefs Association, provides a range of fire training available to 19 fire departments within Barnstable County.
The county’s support and our staff’s efforts provide fire training equipment and props to all fire departments on Cape Cod. The mobile training for the 19 departments is provided to departments on duty personnel and drills for our call and volunteer departments.
