Master Gardeners Association of Cape Cod to Offer Backyard Horticulture Educational Series

January 9, 2025 (Barnstable, MA) The Master Gardeners Association of Cape Cod is thrilled to present its Backyard Horticulture Educational Series, a hands-on gardening program for enthusiasts of all skill levels. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a beginner looking to grow your first plants, this course will provide valuable insights and practical tips.
Taught by seasoned Master Gardeners, the program covers essential topics to help you succeed in your gardening endeavors, including:
- Container Gardening
- Gardening for Pollinators
- Herb and Vegetable Gardening
- Identifying Native & Invasive Plants
- Pruning Techniques
- Starting Plants from Seeds
- Soil Health & Composting
Each class features expert presentations and interactive discussions, giving participants plenty of opportunities to ask questions and share experiences. The courses are designed to address Cape Cod’s unique gardening challenges and conditions, helping participants create thriving gardens.

- Harwich: Harwich Community Center, Fridays, 1:00 P.M. – 4:30 P.M., February 7 – March 28
- Barnstable: Harborview Conference Room, Barnstable County Complex, Thursdays, 1:00 P.M. – 4:15 P.M., February 6 – March 27
