CORD Emergency Preparedness Workshop
Extreme weather is happening more frequently than ever before. Are you prepared? Join Cape Organization for Rights of the Disabled (CORD) on October 11th at 2:00 PM to find out!
People with disabilities, family members, service providers and first responders are invited to learn about local emergency resources and procedures and steps to protect yourself during an emergency.

- What supplies you need in an emergency
- Regional emergency shelters
- Tips from the Barnstable County Regional Emergency Planning Committee
- How to create a ‘go-bag’

The first 30 people to RSVP will get a free go bag gifted by the Nicholas G Xiarhos Memorial Fund and Big Nick’s Ride for the Fallen, in memory of Nick and Cape Cod Fallen.
This is a scent-free event. Please do not wear scented products, including perfumes, scented deodorant and clothes washed scented laundry products.
