Master Gardeners of Cape Cod Presents Sustainable Home Gardening Spring Symposium 

February 15, 2024 (Barnstable, MA) The Master Gardener Association of Cape Cod presents its Spring Gardening Symposium, Rewild Your Garden: Planting Plans for a Cape-friendly Landscape on Saturday, March 23, 2024. This event features garden designer Marie Chieppo and plantsman Trevor Smith, who use eco-friendly practices in their garden designs. Russ Norton, Extension Educator, will discuss Cape Cod’s native plants and how to conserve, encourage, and manage them in the landscape. 

Join these three presenters to learn how to apply these environmentally focused gardening principles to Cape Cod gardens. They will emphasize how to take inspiration from natural settings and use it in the cultivated landscape. Design tools that use the size, color, form, and root systems of native plants to create a beautiful and ultimately self-sustaining garden will also be discussed.

Cost: Registration is $40.00

When: Saturday, March 23 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Registration starts at 8 a.m.
