Immersive event to showcase electric vehicles and supporting technology

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (June 1, 2023) – The Recharge Cape Cod Electric Vehicle (EV) Expo and Test Drive Event takes place this Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hyannis Transportation Center.

Join us at this free event to view and test drive a variety of EV makes and models including e-bikes and an electric bus, get hands-on charging experience, discover current and near-future plans for charging infrastructure, and learn about local, state, and federal rebates. The event will be held rain or shine.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to own an EV, how much it costs to charge, and the kinds of incentives available for new and used EVs, you’ll have a chance to ask EV owners and experts who will be on hand to answer questions and share their experiences.

The EV expo is free and open to the public. It is presented in partnership with Recharge Massachusetts, the Cape Cod Commission, Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority, and Cape Cod Climate Change Collaborative, with the support of AmeriCorps Cape Cod.

Outer Cape Meet-Up 
A meet-up of EV owners will take place beginning at 8:00 AM at the Salt Pond Visitors Center in Eastham.
