The Station Avenue Corridor Study will examine the length of Station Avenue in South Yarmouth from the Route 6 ramps to Regional Avenue in Yarmouth. The study seeks to develop a set of key short- and long-term recommendations to address various issues along the corridor. The focus of this public input session is to gather public feedback on issues, opportunities, and visions for the future of the corridor.

The corridor provides access to many uses including Route 6, commercial businesses, neighborhoods, and several Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District buildings, including D-Y High School and the new middle school. Staff will be analyzing existing conditions and future developments throughout the study.

Guided by input from the public, Commission staff will prepare a slate of draft alternatives for the corridor. A second public meeting will be scheduled to seek public feedback on the draft alternatives.
