Find New Friends and Interests at the November Barnstable County 4-H Open House

Trying something new is easier when you can meet the people involved and give an activity a try. If your child is looking for new interests or friendships, the Barnstable County 4-H Open House on Friday, November 13 is a chance to explore what’s available locally.

Youth ages 5–18, families and adults interested in volunteering are invited to this free event. No previous 4-H experience is needed.

Explore rockets and meet local 4-H members

The evening will include hands-on learning about rockets with Kim Pond, Massachusetts 4-H STEM Specialist. Current club leaders and youth members will also share their experiences and answer questions about participating in 4-H.

Come learn about programs available in Barnstable County, how to become a youth member and ways adults can volunteer. Whether you’re exploring options for your child or interested in sharing your own skills, this is a chance to meet people and ask questions.
