AmeriCorps Cape Cod Members Begin Individual Placements Across the Cape
AmeriCorps Cape Cod has wrapped up training and is now out in the community for regularly scheduled service days — and they’re jumping right in.
The first day of Individual Placements comes after a five-month matching process that pairs members with organizations across the Cape — land trusts, town departments, and local nonprofits — for long-term projects that make a real difference. These placements not only support community needs, they also help members grow their skills and confidence.
From clearing herring runs to meeting students in local schools, the first few days are already full of hands-on learning and service.
