Scenes from the Barnstable Village July 4 Parade
On the Fourth of July, a blue Beetle rolled through Barnstable Village carrying Mercy Otis Warren Cape Cod Woman of the Year Patti Lloyd in the front seat and former Barnstable County Commissioner Mary LeClair—dressed as Mercy Otis Warren herself—riding in the back. Mary served as Commissioner from 1996 to 2008.
Patti Lloyd has made a lasting impact on Cape Cod through her leadership in the hospitality industry and decades of volunteer service. It was a proud moment to celebrate both Patti and Mary, honoring the civic spirit that connects Cape Cod’s past and present.
The parade drew an enthusiastic crowd this year, with families, visitors, and neighbors lining the streets to celebrate together.
A big thank-you to Olivia and Nick for carrying the banner and to everyone who helped make the day so special!
