Barnstable County Invests in Affordable Housing at Cape View Way
Cape View Way in Bourne is now home to 42 new affordable rental units, with 26 reserved for households earning under 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI) and 16 set aside for those earning under 30% AMI.
This critical project received $800,000 in direct funding from Barnstable County—including $300,000 through the Barnstable County HOME Consortium and $500,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. These investments reflect the County’s continued commitment to supporting affordable housing solutions across the region.
Groundbreaking took place in May 2023, and on April 24, 2025, local officials, POAH, and community partners celebrated the project’s completion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
