MADPH Launches New Web Page Dedicated to LGBTQ+ Care, Services, and Resources

Massachusetts is home to strong, vibrant communities that include people who identify as lesbian, bisexual, gay, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, asexual/aromantic, and two-spirit (LGBTQ+).
Because of environmental factors including discrimination and barriers to health care, people who identify as LGBTQ+ experience unique health disparities. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) and health care providers across the state, including Barnstable County, are committed to reversing these trends and working together to improve the health and wellness of LGBTQ+ people in the Commonwealth.
