Barnstable County Registry of Deeds Launches Enhanced Website
Barnstable, MA – (November 12, 2024) – The Barnstable County Registry of Deeds is pleased to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website. The updated site, which is accessible at www.barnstabledeeds.org, is now integrated into the comprehensive capecod.gov domain. This enhancement not only aligns with Barnstable County’s branding but also represents a significant advancement in user experience.

“The roll out of our new home page is the culmination of a multi-year effort to provide easier access to information for the taxpayers of Barnstable County,” said John F. Meade, Register of Deeds. “We were able to track customer inquiries and put the information they were regularly requesting front and center. Please take special note of our Consumer Notification & Title Fraud link. This is a service provided by the Registry free of charge that will notify you in the event a document is recorded in your name. It is a valuable resource in a time where fraud schemes, while extremely rare, are getting more notoriety.”
