Orleans Fire Department Sharpens Skills with Propane Safety Training

The Orleans Fire Department recently completed an essential training session, coordinated by Matt Tucker, using a propane prop to enhance safety and response skills. Given propane’s significance as a major fuel source across the lower Cape, this hands-on training focused on managing propane-related hazards effectively. Firefighters practiced strategies for handling propane emergencies safely, reinforcing their readiness to protect the community and respond swiftly to incidents involving this commonly used fuel. Matt Tucker, who also serves as the Fit Test/Door Prop Coordinator, played a key role in organizing and overseeing this critical training.
