Waste No Water Library Tour: Stop #6 at Brewster Ladies Library!
The Massachusetts Alternative Septic System Test Center (MASSTC), a division of the Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment, invites you to the 6th stop of the Waste No Water Library Tour at the Brewster Ladies Library next Wednesday, July 24, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. located in the Auditorium at the Brewster Ladies’ Library1822 Main Street, Brewster, MA, 02631.
In April, they launched the Waste No Water Library Tour, a 10+ library series aimed at engaging the public across over 10 Cape towns. Their goal is to discuss the successes and challenges each town faces regarding wastewater management.
They will kick off our conversations with a showing of the recent Scientific American documentary “Yellow Tide,” which highlights MASSTC’s efforts in wastewater management. This is a fantastic opportunity for local boards of health, pond groups, homeowners, water advocates, realtors, landscape companies, and anyone interested in the topic of wastewater to come together and learn more about innovative and alternative systems, including urine diversion, as crucial pieces of the ongoing wastewater puzzle.
