Enhancing Firefighting Excellence: CCCSPT’s Innovative Training with Thermal Imaging Technology
This month, the Cape Cod Center for Public Safety Training (CCCSPT), a vital program of Barnstable County, conducted a comprehensive live fire training session at the Truro Fire/Rescue Department. This training provided members with essential skills and hands-on experience in managing fire emergencies. A notable aspect of this session was the use of CCCSPT’s new thermal imaging camera. This advanced technology allows fire personnel to see through smoke, identify heat sources, and safely rescue individuals trapped in hazardous conditions.
