Barnstable County is delighted to congratulate Children’s Cove and all the deserving recipients of this year’s Seaside Le Mans – The Race for the Cape Cod Community.
This Year’s Honored Recipients:
- Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance: Recognized for their “Small Boats, Big Taste” program, which supports sustainable local fishing.
- Cape Cod Healthcare: Applauded for advancing comprehensive cancer treatment and patient care.
- Children’s Cove: Celebrated for expanding their Teen TASK Force Program, crucial in providing support and education to teenagers.
- Brazilian Resource Center: Honored for their efforts in promoting spiritual, mental, and physical wellness.
- Heroes in Transition: Commended for their dedication to expanding services for veterans across Cape Cod.
The formal announcement of these beneficiaries took place on May 14th at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. The Seaside Le Mans, set for September 7, 2024, at Mashpee Commons, showcases teams competing in Formula One-style karts in a race that supports these vital community organizations.
