Apply Now for the 2024 Master Gardener Program 

Become a Master Gardener and help others learn to grow 

August 18, 2023 (Barnstable, MA) – The 2024 Master Gardener program applications are now open until October 1, 2023, offering an opportunity for gardening enthusiasts to share their knowledge and contribute to community outreach. 

The Master Gardener program is a cooperative effort between community volunteers and the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension. This program is designed to meet the horticulture needs of Barnstable County citizens through education and outreach. If accepted into the program, you will be trained by the Cooperative Extension to utilize expertise to teach people about plants, pests, and the environment as it relates to ornamentals and food crops. The Master Gardener program requires a commitment to both training time and volunteer time.
