Master Gardeners of Cape Cod to Award Scholarships to Barnstable County Students Pursuing Studies in Agriculture, Horticulture, and Natural Resources 

March 24, 2023 (Barnstable, MA) – The Master Gardener Association of Cape Cod is offering four $2,500.00 scholarships for students residing in Barnstable County. The scholarship funds can be applied to tuition or room and board for those pursuing degrees in agriculture, horticulture, and related natural resource fields.  

The Association is excited to provide this opportunity for aspiring students looking to get ahead in their field of study. Scholarship applications must be accompanied by a one-page statement addressing career interests and work experience, an official transcript, and three letters of recommendation.  

All applications must be received by April 30th, 2023, to qualify for consideration. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply early and make sure they have all the necessary documents included with their application.  

This scholarship program is part of the Association’s mission to promote horticultural education on Cape Cod by nurturing the growth of future generations interested in gardening and greening the environment. By offering these scholarships, the Association is helping to create a brighter future for those passionate about agriculture and horticulture as well as supporting local communities across Barnstable County.
