A release of oil and/or hazardous materials has occurred atthis location, which is a disposal site as defined by M.G.L.c. 21E, § 2 and the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP), 310 CMR 40.0000.
Barnstable County has submitted a Public Comment Draft Phase II Comprehensive Site Assessment (CSA) Scope of Work (SOW) to MassDEP on July 16, 2021.
Per MCP 310 CMR 40.1405 and the guideline stated in the final Public Involvement Plan, a public meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 5:30 pm to present the draft Phase II Comprehensive Site Assessment (CSA) Scope of Work (SOW), to solicit public comment, and to provide information about disposal site conditions.

The notice of availability of the Public Comment Draft Phase II Comprehensive Site Assessment (CSA) Scope of Work (SOW) was sent out via email and written correspondence to those listed on the Public Involvement Mailing List on July 20, 2021.

A copy of the document is also available at the Reference desk of the Hyannis Public Library, 401 Main St., Hyannis, MA.
