Town of Truro is Seeking a Council on Aging Director
COUNCIL ON AGING DIRECTOR
The Town of Truro is seeking applicants for the position of Council on Aging Director. This is a full time (35 hour a week) union position performing professional, administrative and supervisory work in developing and implementing the programs and services of the Council on Aging to meet the needs of and enhance the quality of life of the town’s senior population. Bachelor’s degree in social work, gerontology, public management or related field; three years of experience working with senior citizens in a social service, health or related position; municipal experience or experience delivering services in a public setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent computer skills and interpersonal skills required. Salary: $57,730.85+ DOQ.
