MLK Service Day Project

BCREPC AmeriCorps members Conor Terry and Cynthia Slemmer, alongside American Red Cross AmeriCorps members Caitlin Rasche and Hannah Bourassa, served at the Cape Cod Elder Services as part of the MLK Day of Service Project. The members gave a group of attendees a presentation on disaster preparation, how to make a disaster kit, and the sheltering system on Cape Cod.
After the presentation the members and attendees served together in order to put together and pack 200 disaster kits for at-risk elderly persons across Cape Cod.
