Brewster Joins List of Towns Targeted for Dispensary

Proposals for four medical marijuana dispensaries are in the works for Barnstable County, with Brewster joining a list of target sites that includes Mashpee, Bourne and Dennis.
Brewster Town Administrator Charles Sumner said his office received a letter late last week from Haven Center, an Orleans-based nonprofit group headed by Christopher Taloumis, announcing plans to submit an application to operate a dispensary in Brewster, if the state allows it to move to the next step in the review process.
