Cape Cod Canal Clean Up

Join us on April 20, 2024, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Herring Run Recreation Area for food, fun, and a chance to better your community. Volunteers will be provided gloves, bags, and refreshments. There will also be an educational exhibition with presenters from various environmental organizations.
Barnstable County AmeriCorps Cape Cod has partnered with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for 23 years to host the annual Canal Clean Up, a community-wide service event to help meet the immediate environmental needs facing the Cape Cod Canal, one of the region’s most important recreational assets.
