Assembly of Delegates Public Hearings on Proposed Ordinances 23-08 and 23-11

On April 5, 2023 at 4:00 p.m., the Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates will hold hybrid (in-person and virtual) public hearings on: Proposed Ordinance No. 8, Making appropriations for the Cape Cod Commission operating budget for the Fiscal Year 2024, for operations and capital requirements and for reserve funds; and Proposed Ordinance No. 11, Repealing Ordinance 23-05, Allocating $11,400,000 of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds received by the county for the housing sector, to remove Sections 2 and 3, and re-allocating the same amount for the same purpose. The public hearings will be held in the Mary Pat Flynn Conference Center at the Barnstable County Courthouse Complex, 3195 Main Street – Route 6A, in the town of Barnstable, and via Microsoft Teams. The hearings will be open to anyone wishing to testify or make public comment on the proposed ordinances. The full text of the proposed ordinances has been electronically distributed to the Town Clerk of each town in Barnstable County. It is also available on the Cape Cod Regional Government website. Written comments can also be emailed to owen.fletcher@capecod.gov before noon on the date of the public hearing. The County will also stream the public hearing and Assembly meeting live streamed on the County YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/BarnstableCountyVideo.
