A Message from Children’s Cove: Child Abuse Increases in Time of Isolation from Community

Children who are at risk at home are now at greater risk due to being away from safe adults and mandated reporters. Instances of domestic and sexual violence, as well as child abuse and exploitation, increase in time of isolation from social and community connections.
