Cape Cod Master Gardeners Invite Public to Tour Gardens


Regional garden tours and lectures offered as part of the Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival

June 27, 2023 (Barnstable, MA) – The Master Gardeners of Cape Cod are showcasing 6 unique gardens to visitors in celebration of the Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival. Garden tours will be held rain or shine from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the festival dates of July 7th-16th. Admission is $5.00 per garden and cash only. Tours will include lectures from Master Gardeners as well as parking. For more information and the tour brochure, please visit mastergardenerscc.org.

The Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival is an annual celebration of the Cape’s most loved flower. The ten-day festival starts on July 7th and runs through the 16th. The festival’s main attractions are the tours of private gardens, each designed and maintained by the individual homeowners.

ABOUT MASTER GARDENERS ASSOCIATION OF CAPE COD: The Master Gardener Program is a cooperative effort between Master Gardener volunteers and Cape Cod Cooperative Extension to provide science-based horticultural information to the residents of Barnstable County. Master Gardener volunteers provide education and services to the community promoting sustainable and environmentally sound gardening practices.
