Master Gardeners of Cape Cod Present the 2023 Spring Symposium.
Learn to love plants that love you back at the Master Gardeners’ Spring Symposium on Saturday, March 25, at Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville. This home gardening presentation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The featured speaker is Brie Arthur, award-winning landscape designer, grower, and author. Arthur will present earth-friendly ways to make your gardens more beautiful and productive while you help preserve the ecology of Cape Cod. Focusing on the best plant combinations for the Cape Cod area, Arthur will share her strategies to deter deer, rabbits, and voles, and share inspiration for container gardens. From having a party ready patio to a bountiful property border, Arthur will share expert growing tips for a successful harvest.
Additionally, attendees will learn about the Pollinator Pathways of Cape Cod initiative to increase pollinator-friendly habitats and food sources for bees, butterflies, and wildlife.
