Governor Baker announced today: Phase 2 of the vaccination schedule will begin Feb. 1 (Monday) for people age 75+. Later in February, age 65 +and people with 2+ co-morbidities will be eligible – depending on vaccine supply from federal government. New mass vaccination sites were also announced. In addition to the site at Gillette Stadium and one opening at Fenway Park, the state will open a mass vaccination site at the Eastfield Mall on Jan. 29, one at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel in Danvers on Feb. 3 and the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury the first week in February. By mid-Feb. the state plans to have 165 vaccine sites, including 71 pharmacy/retail locations. Phase 2 of vaccination starts Feb. 1 with those 75 and older followed by those 65 and older.
