Meet Barnstable County’s Finance Assistant Priscilla Ellis
Throughout the course of the summer, one of our goals is to increase awareness of the purpose and mission of Barnstable County, and how our employees are working for you. During the months of July and August, we’ll introduce you to several employees.
Today’s Employee Feature goes to Priscilla Ellis!
As the Finance Assistant, Priscilla Ellis helps to oversee accounts in Finance, Dredge, Information Technology, Cape Cod Center for Public Safety Training, AmeriCorps Cape Cod, Wells Clean-up Project, as well as reconciliation of County grant billings and match requirements. Prior to her position as Finance Assistant, Priscilla was the Administrative Assistant at the Resource Development Office and AmeriCorps Cape Cod. She’s been with the County for over sixteen years.
When asked what she likes best about working for the County and the people of Cape Cod, Priscilla said, “Do what you love, love what you do! As a native Cape Codder there is nothing I love more than the natural beauty of this peninsula, serving the residents of Barnstable County, and finding ways to save them money!”
