Address Confidentiality Program Application Assistant Training | Wednesday, July 24, 2019

Victim advocates from the South Shore/Cape Cod region are invited to attend a training to be certified (or recertified) as Application Assistants for the Address Confidentiality Program (ACP). The training will be conducted at the Barnstable Police Department, 1200 Phinney’s Ln, Hyannis, MA 02601, on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, from 1-3pm.
To attend the training, an individual must be “an employee of a state or local (city/town) agency, or of a nonprofit program that provides counseling, referral, shelter or other specialized services to victims of domestic abuse, rape, sexual assault or stalking…” (950 CMR 130.02)
ACP Application Assistant training generally takes up to two hours. Training materials include a power point presentation and hard copy training packet. Trainees will supply a professional email address upon completion of the training course where their certification number and electronic copies of the necessary information and forms may be sent.
