Cape Cod Healthcare’s Free Program: Moms Do Care

Moms Do Care program is now enrolling pregnant women with Opioid Use Disorders who are from Cape Cod. Moms Do Care uses an integrated system of medical and behavioral health care including access to medication assisted treatment (MAT) and recovery support throughout the pregnancy and postpartum period through the use of peer recovery coaches.

Criteria for enrollment:
1. Pregnant women, over the age of 18, with an Opioid Use Disorder
2. Willingness to start Medication Assisted Treatment ( i.e. methadone or buprenorphine) OR already on Medication Assisted Treatment
3. Living in Barnstable County

Moms Do Care is a free program in which the staff includes people with lived experience who are in recovery, and people who have been specially trained to work with women who have substance use issues.
