BCREPC on alert for Monday storm—no shelter activation at this time
The Barnstable County Regional Emergency Planning Committee (BCREPC) held a conference call at 1:30 p.m. Sunday to discuss the winter weather predicted to arrive on Cape Cod on Monday. The National Weather Services has hoisted a Winter Storm Watch for Cape Cod and the Islands from Monday morning through Tuesday morning.
At this time, the BCREPC will not activate the Regional Shelter System but has asked all its Regional Shelter System partners to notify their members to remain on alert.
The BCREPC advises the citizens of Barnstable County to remain “weather aware” and be prepared for winter weather conditions.
