Gov. Charlie Baker awards almost $400K to communities for drinking and wastewater infrastructure planning

The Baker-Polito administration has awarded nearly $400,000 in MassDEP grants to help over a dozen Massachusetts communities plan out infrastructure improvements for their drinking, wastewater and stormwater systems.

“Economic development often relies on viable community infrastructure systems, such as water operations,” Gov. Charlie Baker said Wednesday. “This grant program will assist communities in addressing those needs and help move local projects forward.”
