Free SCOPE of Pain Trainings on Cape Cod
The Barnstable County Regional Substance Abuse Council and Cape Cod Healthcare are offering free SCOPE of Pain Trainings across Cape Cod on May 11th and 12th at Falmouth Hospital, Cape Cod Hospital, and the Chatham Wayside Inn.
SCOPE of Pain is sponsored by the Boston University School of Medicine and is a series of continuing medical/nursing education activities designed to help healthcare professionals safely and competently use opioids, if appropriate, to manage patients with chronic pain. This training is perfect for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists, optometrists, podiatrists, and pharmacists. Three CEUs are available for physicians and nurses.
