- IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers (TACs) are for personal tax help when you believe your tax issue can only be handled face-to-face. The Hyannis office (75 Perseverance Way) provides a variety of services, and appointments must be made by calling 508-775-0029. A list of additional TACs around Massachusetts is available here.
- Community Action Committee of Cape Cod and Islands provides free tax preparation and filing services for low to moderate income residents by certified volunteer tax counselors. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 508-771-1727, ext. 117
