The Barnstable County Technical Rescue Team Dive Team will hold a training exercise simulating a drowning incident at Town Neck Beach in Sandwich on Wednesday, May 21, starting at 9 a.m.
Units will stage at the Stop and Shop parking lot at 65 Route 6A until dispatched. The drill will last approximately four hours and involve search and rescue/recovery exercises.
There will be no traffic disruptions but the drill will occupy a large portion of the beach parking area as well as the beach itself.
