Aging and Disability Forum III – Local Experts, Local Resources
May 16, 2014
8:00am – 3:30pm
Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis, MA
The Barnstable County Department of Human Services invites you to register for our next Aging and Disability Forum on Friday, May 16th featuring Local Experts and Local Resources!
With help from feedback provided by past forum participants, multiple breakout sessions have been developed focusing on some of the major concerns for older adults and people with disabilities on Cape Cod. Legal questions, health insurance needs, mental health issues, and healthy aging are among the topics the all-day forum will explore. And a fantastic slate of local experts who best understand our local needs will be on hand in our “Local Experts Room” to answer your questions and make connections.
As part of the Navigating the Long Term Services and Supports System for Older Adults and People with Disabilities series, the May 16th forum is perfect for professionals or community members interested in learning more about what options are available locally.
Registration is free* and includes breakfast and lunch.
*Please note – This forum has been approved for 5 Continued Education Units for social workers, nurses, licensed professional mental health counselors, and nursing home administrators. If you would like to receive 5 CEUs, simply add the $50 CEU program fee to your cart when registering.
