Assembly of Delegates Public Hearings on Proposed Ordinance Nos. 23-15 and 23-16

On July 5, 2023 at 4:30 p.m., the Cape Cod Regional Government Assembly of Delegates will hold virtual public hearings on Proposed Ordinance No. 15, To transfer funds to Fund 8099 to pay for ongoing licensed site professional contractual services, utilities, permits, filters, operation and maintenance for Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) groundwater treatment at the former municipal fire training site, by making an appropriation for the Fiscal Year 2024; and Proposed Ordinance No. 16, To revise and amend the Barnstable County Home Rule Charter in accordance with the second paragraph of Section 9 – 1 by clarifying language regarding the advisory board for county expenditures for Barnstable county and other fiscal procedures. The public hearings will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams. The hearings will be open to anyone wishing to testify or make public comment on the proposed ordinances. The full text of the proposed ordinances has been electronically distributed to the Town Clerk of each town in Barnstable County. It is also available on the Cape Cod Regional Government website. Instructions on accessing the public hearing will be detailed on the Assembly of Delegates Business Calendar for July 5, 2023 located at https://www.capecod.gov/county-government/meeting-center/. Written comments can also be emailed to owen.fletcher@capecod.gov before noon on the date of the public hearings.  The County will also stream the public hearing and Assembly meeting live streamed on the County YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/BarnstableCountyVideo.
