Assembly of Delegates Public Hearings on Proposed Ordinance Nos. 23-13 and 23-14

On June 21, 2023 at 4:00 p.m., the Cape Cod Regional Government Assembly of Delegates will hold hybrid (in-person and virtual) public hearings on Proposed Ordinance No. 13, Allocating $651,464 for the purposes of managing and administering funds received under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 for the period July 1, 2023 through December 31, 2026; and Proposed Ordinance No. 14, Amending Ordinance 21 – 04, establishing a job description for a full‐time Clerk of the Assembly of Delegates and incorporating it into the county’s Classification Plan. The public hearings will be held in the Mary Pat Flynn Conference Center at the Barnstable County Courthouse Complex, 3195 Main Street – Route 6A, in the town of Barnstable, and via Microsoft Teams. The hearings will be open to anyone wishing to testify or make public comment on the proposed ordinances. The full text of the proposed ordinances has been electronically distributed to the Town Clerk of each town in Barnstable County. It is also available on the Cape Cod Regional Government website. Instructions on accessing the public hearing will be detailed on the Assembly of Delegates Business Calendar for June 21, 2023 located at https://www.capecod.gov/county-government/meeting-center/. Written comments can also be emailed to owen.fletcher@capecod.gov before noon on the date of the public hearings. The County will also stream the public hearing and Assembly meeting live streamed on the County YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/BarnstableCountyVideo.
