Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 1 pm to 5 pm at the Barnstable Adult Community Center. This event, hosted by the Town of Barnstable and the Barnstable Adult Community Center, is dedicated to bringing safety, educational, and wellness resources to our older adults.
Expect a fun-filled day packed with important services and valuable information! Last year’s event was a hit with happy, healthy attendees, and we’re excited to continue this tradition.
At County Corner, you’ll have access to the following valuable resources:
- Emergency Preparedness – Learn how to stay safe with guidance from the Regional Emergency Planning Committee.
- Public Health Nurses – Get health tips and screenings from the Health & Environment Department.
- SHINE (Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone) – Receive assistance with health insurance from the Human Services Department.
- Substance Use Resources – Access support and information on substance use from the Human Services Department.
- Nutrition and Food Access – Explore healthy eating options and recipes with Cooperative Extension Nutrition Educators.
- Flood Preparedness – Protect your home with coastal risk assessments and mitigation advice.
