Barnstable County and Regional Emergency Planning: Hurricane Preparedness Talk

Chip Reilly, Director of Emergency Preparedness for Barnstable County, will present a Hurricane Preparedness talk at the Sandwich Public Library on Wednesday, September 13th, starting at 6:30 PM.

In this presentation, Chip will discuss individual emergency preparedness, including creating an emergency kit, developing a safety plan, and staying informed. He will also focus on educating senior citizens and vulnerable individuals about preparing for shelter during weather events or other emergencies. Everyone is welcome to attend, and caregivers are encouraged to join.

This event is free, but registration through the library’s event calendar is required to ensure seating availability.
