Carol Coppola Joins Barnstable County as Treasurer and Director of Finance

Barnstable, MA | May 20, 2022 — The Barnstable County Board of Regional Commissioners is pleased to announce the swearing-in of Carol Coppola to the position of Director of Finance and Treasurer at Barnstable County last week.
Since 2017, Ms. Coppola has served as the Chief Financial Officer with the Town of Harwich. She brings 20 years of finance experience in local and state governmental accounting, including a successful consultancy business.
“We are delighted to welcome Carol to Barnstable County,” said County Administrator Beth Albert, “We are impressed with her experience and knowledge.”
Ms. Coppola is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, with a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Accounting, a Master of Science in Accounting, and a Master of Science in Business Education. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire.
Ms. Coppola has resided on Cape Cod since 2017.
