A Message from Children’s Cove: Children and Online Safety

With schools being closed, children of all ages have been spending a lot more time online. With this “new norm” of increased need for online access, those with online access, or those who are now getting access to the internet: parents need to take more time to talk about safety online.
Child predators go where children go. That means now, more than ever, they are online. They will be on social media, in chat rooms, online video game platforms, YouTube, even apps that are for children incredibly young you may think they won’t be there. They will be, and they are.
