AmeriCorps Cape Cod Members Prepare to Graduate
AmeriCorps Cape Cod Will Graduate 32 Members
On July 27th, The AmeriCorps Cape Cod program will be graduating 32 members. The graduation signifies the completion of each member’s 11- months and 1700 hours of service to the Cape Cod Community. The ceremony will feature speeches from County Commissioner Ron Beaty, Cape Cod National Seashore Superintendent, Kathy Tevyaw, and County Administrator Jack Yunits.
Who Is AmeriCorps
AmeriCorps is a federally funded national service movement overseen by the Corporation for National and Community Service. Often referred to as the “Domestic Peace Corps,” AmeriCorps engages Americans of different ages and backgrounds in service to address the most critical needs in our nation’s communities.

AmeriCorps Cape Cod is one of the most highly regarded AmeriCorps programs nationally and has thrived throughout its 18 years of dedicated service, performed by countless members. This program has been extremely successful in its endeavors, building strong relationships in the community with over 120 Town, County, State, Federal, non-profit, and community based departments and organizations. AmeriCorps Cape Cod concentrates its efforts on areas of natural resource management projects and disaster preparedness and response.
