2016 Kick-Off for Housing With Love Walk
The 24th annual Bob Murray Housing With Love Walk began today, July 11, 2016, at St. Mary’s Church in Provincetown. Each day this week, volunteer walkers will walk all or part of the length of Cape Cod to raise funds and awareness for nine non-profit agencies who work to prevent and reduce homelessness on Cape Cod. For all nine agencies, the Walk is a way to bridge the funding gap between local need and state/Federal funding.
The walk will end in Falmouth on Sunday, July 17, 2016. To find out where and when you can join the walk, view the Walk Itinerary. Follow the Walk on Facebook, or donate: Bob Murray Housing With Love Walk, P.O. Box 2192, Teaticket, MA 02536.
The Cape and Islands Regional Network on Homelessness will walk as a team in Sandwich on Thursday, July 14, 2016. For more information, contact Paula Schnepp, Coordinator for the Cape and Islands Regional Network on Homelessness, at pkschnepp@gmail.com.
