The Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant position for Public Health Shared Services and the Regional Public Health Training Hub. This grant funded position will be responsible for the administrative support and coordination of the fiscal, personnel, and payroll records for grant and associated program funding. High school diploma and supplemental courses in business training; minimum of associate’s degree preferred. Three to five years’ experience in office administration or equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough knowledge of general office management procedures, knowledge of recordkeeping practices, payroll functions, accounts receivable and payable, budget preparation, grant procedures and purchasing policies. Working knowledge of MUNIS, Microsoft Office 365 and associated apps such as Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. This is  a full time, grant funded position with the possibility of hybrid remote work.
